Top 10 Yoga Poses To Fight Against Seasonal Cold

Do you think with the arrival of winter, your life somehow gets disrupted?

If the answer is yes, then you know how it feels when you get prone to flu-like symptoms and bothersome colds. But just because you 'know' that it's bound to happen, does not mean that there's no solution to it.

Apart from medical solutions, there are a number of ways to prevent congestion and coughing fits, including the practice of yoga.


Yoga for cold is the perfect way to avoid the oncoming symptoms of a cold or the ones which you are already experiencing.


Yoga Poses To Combat Bothersome Colds


  • Standing Forward Bend (Uttanasana) Uttanasana or Standing Forward Bend is one of the topmost yoga poses that help you in fighting against seasonal cold. It is also a great pose to relax your shoulders, strengthen the spine and lower back, stretch the hamstrings, and massage your abdominal organs.

  • Camel Pose (Ustrasana) Also known as Ustrasana, the Camel pose is an incredible pose as it opens up your chest and helps you breathe in an efficient manner. If you are not ready to perform this pose fully yet, then you can place a pillow under your calves to make the process easier for you.
